The American health system is the implementation of a third world and beyond (down to the jungle) type of evolutionary selection based on wealth. If you don’t have the money, you die. Or at least you are left on your natural defence mechanisms to survive, anything from 21th-century medicine is available if you contribute enough to society (or have money some other way).
The irony is the people supporting this system of natural (wealth) selection by large do not believe in evolution.
